Apologies for the temporary glitches with e-mail access this morning. The server was apparently in need of its once a year (or so) reboot. All systems are currently go.

Hey grant. I’m still getting the following error:
maillock error 4: ‘/var/spool/mail/1f2frfbf’
Do I need to give my account a little back rub magic too?
Thanks,
ben.
Thanks Grant! Your work to maintain Newted and its email services is much appreciated!

Ben, try it again now.
I’m not sure what happened, but the mail server started crapping out after the midnight cron jobs finished running. I’ll keep an eye on the box, but it may be time for some additional tidying and maintenance.
Looks like my last kick at the server fixed all of the outstanding issues with mail and access. Onward, fellow green-bleeders. Onward!
Grant,
Great to see that your still here and “keeping the light on”… it’s appreciated!

Thanks for the supportive words, Gerry. I have no intention of drifting away from the Newton or the surrounding community. I’ll be around for a while yet … plus, now I have to get up to speed running a mailing list too. Cheers.
