This is getting a bit tiring. Yes, the NewtonTalk mailing list is offline once again due to some sort of snafu with Verizon in New York. No one has been able to get in touch with the server dad, Bill Shamam, other than Victor Rehorst, who is currently winding his way through Yugoslavia. Paul Guyot is looking into the feasibility of setting up a temporary read-only list based on a recent back up of the members and addresses so that news and updates may be delivered to the wondering masses. Rest assured that things will be fixed, it’s just not known when. If you’re in dire need of Newton-related companionship, there’s always the emergency backup list over at Yahoo! Groups.
